ITEES license training providers to conduct a wide range of industry-relevant ITE courses that are offered at three certification levels

• Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher Nitec)
• National ITE Certificate (Nitec)
• ITE Skills Certificate (ISC)

Equivalent International Certificates (Higher Nitec International, Nitec International and ISC International) are offered through ITEES-licensed overseas partners. Nitec is broad-based hands-on training pegged at the technician level. Higher Nitec is also broad-based training but would involve more theoretical content and is pegged at the technologist level. ISC is designed for specific skills training designed for adults with lower education qualifications.

Award of ITE Overseas Certificates
Participants of who successfully complete ITE courses at ITEES licensed overseas training centres will be awarded ITE overseas certificates, namely, Higher Nitec International, Nitec International or ISC International. These overseas certificates will be recognised by ITE as having the same standard and quality as the local Nitecs and Higher Nitecs.

Support from ITEES
As a licensee conducting ITE courses, you will be provided with professional and administrative support from ITEES. Specifically, ITEES provides the following:

• Curriculum standards
• Teaching materials
• Exams administration
• Train-the-trainer programme
• Consultancy on setting up of training infrastructure

Potential Licensees
Training providers with the necessary experience, facilities and qualified training staff can be considered for local and/or overseas licensing by ITEES. Potential licensees will have to submit an Expression of Interest form obtainable from ITEES and subsequently to make a presentation of its business and training plan to the ITEES Board of Directors.
