The MOE NT Electives Modules (EMs) are offered by ITE through ITEES. These elective modules provide students with a glimpse of what they can expect to learn in the various courses of study in ITE, so that they are better-prepared when they come to ITE.

MOE and ITE have jointly worked on the framework for the recognition of EMs by ITE. There are two categories for recognition of EMs:

Category A - Provision of credits for advanced standing for any Nitec courses
This allows a student to use the credits gained after completing the courses as part of the credit requirements for certification when they enrol in ITE. However, these credit units are meant only for Elective Modules component, and not for Life Skills or Core Modules.
